Composed of former San Diego punk bands (Bankers Hill, Motionless, Skipjack, The Binge, Save Amos), The Rough are an ever-evolving quartet that naturally galvanized as a makeshift super group to utilize their combined milestones through melodic Southern California heart-drenched pop punk. The Rough offer a raw, layered sound with the harmonic precision and heart of Drew Smith’s strapping countertenor and poignant lyrics. Coupled with a barreling big fat oaky drum and bass finish, and biting harmonies and emotional sincerity that serves as the vanguard to their shining Southern Californian sound and character.
